In October 2011 the first edition of Porto Family Size took place in Resende. The project aims to bring the family as part of the process of integration and motivation of employees, in addition to awakening interest in the port area as a professional career among young people and adolescents.

At the end of the visit, there was recreation with Pula-Pula, trampoline, hot dogs, popcorn and cotton candy, in addition to the distribution of gifts to the participating children.

In partnership with AMAR (Resende Environment Agency), seedlings of Ipê Roxo, Araçá, Quaresmeira and Palmeira Real were donated and distributed during the event and, in promoting the preservation of the Environment, together they all planted a Ipê Roxo seedling in the unit's garden.

Porto Family Size at MultiRio and MultiCar

In 2010 Porto Size Family started at Multiterminais, as a pilot project, at the MultiRio and MultiCar units. In view of the success achieved, the event reached its second edition in 2011 and was expanded to the Resende unit.

In the 2nd edition, which took place in October 2011 at the MultiRio and MultiCar units, about 30 families of our employees participated in the tour of the terminal to get to know the activities developed by the company up close.

To close with a flourish, there was a big children's party at the Grêmio do Arsenal de Guerra, in the Caju neighborhood. With recreational players, magicians, theater and toys, nobody stood still.

The families sang symbolic "congratulations to you" for all the children and a huge personalized cake came on the scene for everyone to celebrate the success of the project.

Encouraging the training of new readers, Multiterminais distributed books with the story of "Mr Pinguim and the World of Penguins" shortly after the troupe's theater performance.
