The Port of Rio de Janeiro has just received four new Super Post-Panamax type ship-to-shore cranes, two of which are for MultiRio, significantly expanding operational capacity and enabling MultiRio to more efficiently handle the largest container ships operating in South America.
With these two new portainers, MultiRio terminal now has seven ship-to-shore cranes in operation, allowing the simultaneous handling of two large vessels with high levels of productivity, reinforcing our competitiveness and logistical reliability.
The investment, of approximately R$ 110 million, is part of the terminal's expansion plan and reinforces MultiRio's position as one of the leading port operators in the country, committed to innovation, logistical efficiency, and meeting the growing demands of Brazilian foreign trade.
