Ordinance Nº 164/DPC of 05/25/2016, in line with the International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS - Safety of Life at Sea), defined procedures for determining the Verified Gross Mass ("VGM") of full containers to be shipped in the national territory for export or for cabotage, which is the responsibility of the shipper.
