MultiRio and MultiCar receive I.S.P.S Code compliance statements

On November 21st, the MultiRio container terminal and the MultiCar Vehicle Terminal received from the National Commission for Public Safety in Terminal Ports and Waterways (CONPORTOS), the Declarations of Compliance - DC of the International Code for the Protection of Ships and Terminal Installations.

The Declarations are delivered after auditing procedures in the port facilities, aiming to assess the suitability and application of the Security Plans of the Brazilian port facilities and the respective maintenance of the international protection certification.

These documents, granted to MultiRio and MultiCar, are valid until 11/05/2018, certify that the Terminals had their Security Plans (PSPP) approved in accordance with the international security standards adopted by the International Maritime organization - IMO.

Therefore, the MultiRio Container Terminal and the Ro-Ro MultiCar Terminal are duly qualified to operate with container ships, general cargo, bulk and Roll-on Roll-off, used in international maritime traffic.
