Whoever goes to the cinema to watch a film shown on the big screen does not imagine the work and the number of professionals involved in the production process of that story.
During this month of November, a group of students from E.M.M. Espiridião Rosas are having the opportunity to know a little of this reality with the team of the documentary Praia , which will be released next year, and are creating their own short films.
Twice a week they participate in workshops that work in the following way: in the first meeting they learn about the theory of the process of making a film (the stages, the professions, etc.), they know the filming and sound equipment and develop the script for a short film for the next class. The students themselves choose the genre of the film and collectively create the story. They are responsible for everything: acting, camera, sound, art. The first film created was horror, about a haunted room!
On November 27th, the short films produced will be screened, as well as a short documentary that filmmakers Isabel Castro and Guilherme Hoffmann created from material filmed in the first days of the workshop. Participants and families will win a DVD with all the films produced in the project.
