The Integrated Logistics Center - Juiz de Fora, inaugurated August 2010, is located in the city of Juiz de Fora having an approximate distance of 180 Km from the city of Rio de Janeiro, 280 Km from Belo Horizonte, 474 Km from Vitória, and 476 Km from São Paulo. The region is accessible by road through these three roads: BR 040, BR 267, and BR 116.
The terminal’s total area is of 65,000 m², divided into 1,.000 m² of covered warehouses, 4,.400 m² of yard area designated for storage of vehicles, containers, or loose cargo, additionally 2,100 m² are used as an administrative zone, with constructed installations for administration, mechanical as well as electrical, painting and fuselage repair.
The storage yard is capable of storing up to 1,400 vehicles - also having a special area designated exclusively for Check-in/out activities and a covered area exclusively for mounting and dismounting trucks.
The yard for storing general cargo possesses sufficient capacity for storing up to 3,500 TEUs.
The terminal’s security and vigilance system includes an internal TV circuit strategically distributed across the terminals area with 24-hour image recording, infrared movement censoring alarm system and armed as well as unarmed security personnel.
In order to guarantee a constant energy flow to the terminal there are group diesel generators capable of maintaining, for an indefinite time, the supply of electric energy, sufficient for the terminal’s functioning, until the energy concession restores its activities (in any given eventuality).
In 2013, the COL Juiz de Fora obtained the ISO 9001 certification, guaranteeing the professional standards of its activities. All our operational management systems are self developed, allowing total and absolute control over the system’s functioning, besides that, we also work with the SAP system that is responsible for administrative, fiscal, financial, human resources and accounting management.
This terminal came about to make possible activities, of logistical nature, for materials of national or nationalized character destined for production, as well as finished material for distribution to the final client. All operational activities are undertaken using personally developed operational systems, including data collection via radio frequencies that register automatically each and every activity, guaranteeing an up to date and trustworthy data bank.
In the year 2012, the terminal began the PDI operation for imported vehicles. The project demanded investments to obtain complete, and total, infrastructural support, destined to carry on each and any activity necessary relative to the final objective which is of completely preparing all imported vehicles for delivery to dealerships across the country.
The terminal now realizes all such services including, but not limited to, the tropicalization of the vehicle (support installments for fire extinguishers, stamping of chassis identification on windshields, placing of manuals of any kind, placement of tags demanded by law and other such necessities).
The terminal is also prepared to execute any other necessary activities, such as: mechanical, electrical, painting and fuselage services.
