Multiterminais, an integrated logistics company, was founded in 1986 and began operating the first Customs Bonded Dockside Terminal in Brazil in an area contiguous to the Port of Rio de Janeiro. At that time, the port was operated by the public port authority, Companhia Docas do Rio de Janeiro (CDRJ).

The Company operates Rio de Janeiro’s Container Terminal 2 (MultiRio) and a specialized vehicle terminal (MultiCar) that operates both light vehicles and trucks.

Additionally, Multiterminais operates three dry ports which are located in Rio de Janeiro, Resende and Juiz de Fora, a general warehouse and a forestry products terminal.
