After a public tender administrated by the state government of Minas Gerais, the Multiterminais Group was nominated to offer services in the areas of: Management, Operation, Maintenance and support to the Commercial and Industrial Exploration of the Zona da Mata Regional Airport.

The Zona da Mata Regional Airport includes an area of 500 acres, in a privileged strategic area which is equally distant and approximately 30 minutes away from the important airports of Guarulhos, Campinas, Rio de Janeiro and Vitória.

The airport has a landing strip of 2,530 m2 with a foundation prepared to receive massive cargo airplanes.

The Multiterminais Group has as its primary objectives:

1. Transform the Zona da Mata Regional Airport into an example of safety in Brazil. For this purpose, state of the art equipment will be installed to ensure air traffic and ground safety.

2. Make the airport an example in the efficiency of services in Integrated Logistics as well. With a modern cargo terminal with installations prepared to receive various types of cargo: refrigerated, dry cargo, high aggregate value cargo, pharmaceuticals, chemicals and others.

3. Ensure competitive pricing.

With these main objectives, we will have experienced and specialized professionals in every segment, prioritizing always safety, efficiency and total client satisfaction.

Applying the most modern integrated logistics tools and techniques we will ensure a "lean" operation and total visibility throughout each phase of the project.

A 8,000 m2 cargo terminal will be available to receive all types of cargo, with the installation of a modern radio frequency and bar code system which will enable clients to access real-time online tracking of cargo.

The Zona da Mata Regional Airport has areas available for hangar activities exploration, aircraft maintenance and also Industrial Bonded Areas.
